Scope of Work: Summary: NERSC QEW2's will work with vendor Intellitech to modify the FIKE EPSMS panel in rm. 2005 at B59 to reconfigure EPO #2 to parallel Firefighter's EPO #1. Upon completion functional test will be performed to verify operation without initiating shutdowns. Work will be performed under LOTO permit LP-4700. Procedure will be reviewed by electrical safety as part of the QEW pilot program assessment.
1. Notify FA Fire Alarm Electrician lead and NERSC operations of FIKE panel outage
2. Set up warning tape perimeter and warning signs in FIKE EPSMS panel area
3. Perform job briefing with Intellitech and NERSC safety watch (QEW 2)
4. Put FIKE panel in bypass
5. In BMS system, shut down SBL 20, 21, and EBL 20A, 20B, and 21
6. Proceed to both 3rd floor south and north electrical rooms, NERSC R.I. to perform LOTO briefing and initiate LOTO LP-4700
7. Return to Rm. 2005 and NERSC QEW2 will perform ZVV on FIKE EPSMS panel
8. Intellitech to perform re-wiring of EPO button #2
9. Once complete, Intellitech will open all output fuses prior to re-energization of FIKE panel
10. Notify FA Fire Alarm Electrician lead and NERSC operations of re-energization of FIKE panel
11. Proceed to 3rd floor south electric room, NERSC R.I. to perform re-energization briefing, release LOTO LP-4700, and re-energize FIKE panel circuits
12. Intellitech to visually verify that FIKE EPSMS panel is functioning as expected. (from outside LOTO perimeter)
13. Intellitech to simulate EPO button # 2 activation and verify relay activation
14. Once operation is confirmed, Intellitech to reset EPO button #2.
15. Once FIKE panel is confirmed as clear of input activations, and in bypass, NERSC QEW2 to close output fuses with appropriate PPE.
16. NERSC QEW2 to close FIKE panel and reset to clear bypass.
17. IN BMS system, restart SBL 20, 21 and EBL 20A, 20B, and 21
18. Notify FA Fire Alarm Electrician lead and NERSC operations that job is complete
19. Collect feedback from all involved on process
20. Remove all signs and barriers
21. Job complete
