Sequence of Job Steps

-Perform briefing to all LOTO Affected Persons. -Notify Source Operator of intent to apply VENUS Ion Source Chamber & Puller Access LOTO. -Equipment Shutdown: -Have the source operator perform a normal shutdown of the VENUS Ion Source. -Verify VENUS Ion Source is off.. -High-voltage is OFF at VENUS PLC. -28 GHz Gyrotron is OFF at VENUS PLC, OFF at 28 GHz panel. -2X 18 GHz Klystrons are OFF at VENUS PLC, OFF at 18 GHz panel V04. -Hot Rack is OFF. -Note: Verification in following steps is performed at VENUS PLC Menu K2, soft key F6, F7. -Magnet power supplies are OFF. -Magnet currents have gone to ZERO. -40kV 30mA Extraction HVPS U610 Power Plug (Lockout 320) **Turn-on Test -25kV 20mA Puller HVPS U0613 Power Plug (Lockout 320) **Turn-on Test -5kV 24mA Sputter Probe HVPS U07 Sputter Probe PS Power Plug **Turn-on Test -1kV 60mA Bias Disk PS U07 Bias Disk PS Power Plug **PS Output U0718 -RF(CPI 28GHz Xmtr.Main Pwr.) 80A4A6A CB-15 (480VAC, 125A) **Turn-on Test -RF(2X CPI 18GHz Xmtr. Main Pwr.) V04 CB1and CB2 (208V, 30A) **Turn-on Test -Apply ground hook to VENUS chamber. -Apply ground hook to Hot Rack. -Apply ground hook to Puller, if exposed. -Turn off cooling water, as needed.
