Scope of Work: 1.Making VENUS chamber electrically safe so NSD and Mechanical team can do repairs. 2. 28GHz Gyrotron water alarm troubleshooting. 28GHz gyrotron is not going to be under LOTO although it is part of E6A-1 VENUS LOTO but it needs energized troubleshooting as there are no alarms when power off. To make it safe the output waveguide of gyrotron is disconnected from VENUS chamber and coupled with 10KW water-cooled RF load. RF waveguide to VENUS side is caped and also under LOTO so if VENUS is running there should be no RF leak from 18GHz source to this side and LOTO prevents someone accidently connecting 28GHz source back to VENUS. If needed Mark Regis is going to do some mode 2 work on gyrotron cabinet with exposure to 120VAC.
